The “Introduction To Wine Tasting” workshop caters to those who have discovered a passion for wine, but find themselves lacking in knowledge on the subject and want to learn the basic fundamentals of wine tasting and noble grape varieties.

Join David Calado, Global Wine Tour’s Founder, as he takes you on a 3.5 hour tasting workshop, teaching you the fundamentals of tasting and analyzing wine through the introduction of the world’s most respected wine analyzing tool, the “Systematic Approach To Tasting”. You are treated to a tasting flight of 8 noble grape variety wines, and as you are tasting each one, you are provided with  a visual presentation where you will learn about each of the noble grape varieties and how climate, geography, and wine production methods impact the wine being tasted.

You will learn how to taste wine on the basic level, and how acidity, oak, tannins, colour, fruit characteristics and other components  impact the wine and its finished quality. You will understand what to look for in a quality wine, and you’ll learn the wine lingo to better communicate your tastes to others.

This workshop begins at 7PM and should conclude by around 10:30PM.  The registration fee is only $49.95 and includes:
