You can host the “Exploring Wines Of The World” workshop in your home for up to 12 people! This wine tasting workshop caters to those who have discovered a passion for wine, but would love to taste and learn about other types of wines. Global Wine Tour would love to take you out of your box of always choosing typical wines, and introduce you to the world of different wines, many of them from specific countries or even just regions of that country.

Have David Calado, Global Wine Tour’s Founder, in your home with you and your friends/family as he takes you all on a 3.5 hour tasting workshop, teaching you all about 8 different wine types. Some examples of the wine varieties that can be explored can include Torrontés, Nebbiolo, Grenache, Zinfandel, Touriga Nacional, Viognier, Malbec, Carménère, Pinot Blanc, Nero d’Avola, Tempranillo etc. GWT can offer you the choice of choosing the types of wines taught at your in-home event, or we can surprise you with the 8 wine types being explored! We have a list of 35-40 different types of wines that can be covered for your “In-Home” event!

Credit card payments can be made securely using the payment services of Paypal.  You DO NOT need to have a Paypal account to use this service.  Payments made using this option are 100% secure, processed in $CAD funds, and are free of any ticketing service charges.  You will receive an email notification when your transaction has been completed.

The In-Home workshop is available on Saturdays and Sundays, anywhere in the Greater Toronto Area. The fee charged for this includes a travel distance up to 40 km from downtown Toronto. A small nominal travel fee is added if the distance to your home is greater. Examples of some that have been held outside of Toronto include Hamilton, Dundas, Pickering, Aurora, Mt. Albert, Milton, and even Fort Erie! Just contact us to discuss it if you’re located outside of Toronto!

The registration fee for this is only $499 (+ HST) and includes:

1. A flight of 8 different wines types (normally 3 whites and 5 reds)
   

2. A visual presentation, done with a screen and projector set up in your home for the event
   

3. ISO wine tasting glasses for all to use for the wine tasting
   

4. A small sampling of 3 cold deli meats and 2 cheeses to better learn the basics of wine and food interaction
   

5. Tasting sheets and other printed materials
